January 2009

A workshop was organised at Bangalore on 18.01.2009 and Dharwad on 25.01.2009 for all the Division Heads and Postmasters/Sub Postmasters of “Project Arrow” Post Offices of Bangalore and North Karnataka(for South Karnataka Region it is proposed on 01.02.2009). A presentation on the objectives was made and modalities of Projec Arrow was explained at the work shop.

February 2009

A meeting on Project Arrow with the Change Agents was held at Dharwad RO on 03.02.2009.

March 2009

Circle level Video Conferencing with Chief PMG, Bangalore was conducted on 04.03.2009 and 17.03.2009 and progress in process revised for both “Project Arrow” and “Karnataka Forward” projects.

Video Conferencing convened by Hon’ble MOS(C&IT) was attended at Bangalore by CPMG, PMG, S.K. Region and PMG, N.K. Region on 07.03.2009 and 21.03.2009.

Soft skills training for Supervisors and Clerical staff through external agency was commenced on 09.03.2009 for all the Project Arrow offices and would be completed by 04.04.2009. The training is being held at Bangalore, Mangalore, Mysore and Dharwad centres.

A development programme for Postmen of Bangalore City on work ethic – effectiveness was organised at Meghdoot Auditorium on 28th, 30th and 31st March 2009 through Prasanna Trust, Bangalore.
