International Money order (Foreign Money order) service through International Financial system (IFS)

Department has introduced the scheme of International Electronic Money order Service through IFS network between the residents of India and UAE by Emirates Posts. This money order service is the electronic mode of existing paper based International Money Order Service. The service is currently running successfully in the Delhi, WE, Tamil Nadu and Maharastra Circles.

In the next phase of expansion, the service will be made available to the remaining Head Post Offices of the country. The System administrators of the circle have attended the IFS network training at Chennai on 15.12.08
