ADDRESS VERIFICATION

This service is being offered to Telecom companies, Banks, Credit card companies and other organizations who require addresses of their customers to be verified. Department of Posts will leverage both its network and the vast experience of its Postmen to provide authentic verification. Value addition like online MIS is also offered. Department of Posts has already under taken the work of BSNL and Hutch, Infosys for entire Karnataka.

Exclusive set up for Address verification services called: Address Verification Services Centre at Bangalore GPO was opened on 31st August 2006 which is the first of its kind in India. The Address Verification services Centre will act as the nodal office for various new services offered by Department of Posts and pioneered by Karnataka Circle. One among them is Address Verification.
